Error Code 610

You will see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2020 tax software if on the Employment expenses (T777 & T777S) page, you entered an amount for the total number of days you worked from home that is more than the total number of days in the year:

The total number of days you worked from home due to COVID-19 is more than the number of days in the year. Please review the number you entered. [error code: 610]

 

How do I fix this?

To fix this error, go back to the Employment expenses (T777 & T777S) page and enter the correct number of consecutive days you worked from home due to COVID-19 in the following field:

What's the total number of days you worked from home in 2020 due to COVID-19?

The maximum amount you can claim is $2 per day up to a maximum of $400. This means, the maximum number of days you can enter on this page is 200 days.
