Error code 604

You will see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2020 tax software if on the Statement of employment expenses (T777 & T777S) page, you didn’t enter the total square footage of your home:

You need to enter the total square footage of your home. [error code: 604]

 

How do I fix this?

To fix this error, return to the T777/T777S page and under the Your home office expenses section, enter the total square footage of your home in the following field:

• Total square footage of your home

Note: You can find the T777/T777S page under the EMPLOYMENT icon on the PREPARE tab.
