Error code 295

You will see the following error message in H&R Block’s 2020 tax software if you entered invalid characters in the Street name field on the Your mailing address page:

The street name you entered doesn't seem to be valid. Please ensure you entered it correctly. [error code: 295]

 

How do I fix this?

To correct this error, enter your street name in the Street name field on the Your mailing address page using only the following characters:

• Numbers
• Letters
• Hyphens
• Spaces
• Forward slashes

Note: The Your mailing address page can be found under the ABOUT YOU icon on the GET STARTED tab.
